The Salford Festival of Cycling
Event Update
For the 2008 event the festival will now be focussed on the Salford Nocturne and the Great Salford Ride will be re-launched for 2009.
The Salford Nocturne will be the first major cycling event in the UK following the Beijing Olympics providing an excellent opportunity to welcome home some of our Olympic stars.
Following the success of the Smithfield Nocturne in London the award winning Nocturne Series now extends to Salford Quays. Salford was chosen to host the Nocturne event due to its iconic location and modern backdrop.
The event will also host a range of attractions to create a festival atmosphere for families and race fans alike. Big screens, beer tents, wine tasting, food stalls, exhibitors and Rollapaluza roller racing will all ensure a superb night of racing and entertainment.
